The Cassava ethyl alcohol produced by CassavaTech is an essential and value-adding raw material for the production of alcoholic beverages due to its high-quality and purity. The neutral ethyl alcohol is a high-quality alcohol with a clear colourless liquid with neutral flavour and aroma and alcohol content of 96% vol. min. It is designed to meet all the requirements stated in Annex 1 of the Regulation 110/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the definition, description, presentation, labelling and the protection of geographical indications of spirit drinks. Our ethanol undergoes continuous distillation. To reach the quality that is highly attractive for the European and Nigerian leading alcoholic beverage brands due to its excellent organoleptic properties.

Ethanol is generally subject to excise duty and its shipments are strictly controlled by the relevant authorities. The amount of the excise duty depends on each European importer's country. European customer must be licensed to receive ethanol with deferred duty payment and can be exempt from excise duty if the denaturant is approved by the relevant authorities.
